Mark Carr Mark Carr joined British Sugar as Chief Executive in March 2004. Prior to this he held a number of senior positions in the steel industry. He was awarded a PhD in mechanical engineering in 1986 by the University of Swansea and an MBA by the University of Warwick in 1997. Mark is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Richard Pike Richard Pike joined British Sugar Group in 2010 from Bridgemere UK, where he was Group Operations and Finance Director. Prior to this Richard held senior finance positions with Manchester Airport Group, Pilkington and Scapa Group. He has significant experience in business development, capital expenditure planning and execution, joint venture management, international operations and the development of financial best practice. |

Karl Carter Karl Carter was appointed to the British Sugar Board in 1994. Prior to this appointment he held a number of operational positions, joining the company in 1971. He completed his education at Peterborough Technical College and holds an HNC in chemistry.

Paul Kenward Paul Kenward joined British Sugar Group from Associated British Foods in 2010. Prior to joining ABF, he founded, ran and sold a retail business, was Commercial Director of EMI in Europe, and trained as a Strategy Consultant. A graduate of Oxford University, Paul holds a First in Modern History, and is a past President of the Oxford Union. |

Quintin Heath Quintin Heath joined British Sugar in 2010 from ABF's grocery division, where he was HR Director. Prior to this, he was HR Director for Twinings Ovo, ABF's international beverage business, which he joined in 2001. Qunitin also has major HR and operational experience in the airline industry and retail services. He holds an MSc in HR and Business from Aston University and a BA in Economics. |

Gino De Jaegher Gino De Jaegher was appointed Managing Director of British Sugar UK in 2007. He joined British Sugar from Procter and Gamble, where he was Managing Director, for the company’s UK and Ireland Paper Business. Educated in Belgium he holds a first degree in Economics and a Masters in Marketing. |

Graham Clark Graham was appointed to the Illovo board in 1997 and as Managing Director on 1 April 2009. He joined the sugar industry in Malawi in 1980 and occupied several financial and management positions, as part of which he obtained extensive sugar industry experience throughout Africa and internationally. Participation in the 2005/06 reform of the EU sugar regime saw him play a leadership role representing the interests of sugar producers in Least Developed Countries. Graham holds an honours degree in accounting and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Tony Cheung Tony Cheung was appointed Managing Director of BSO China in 2009 and is responsible for British Sugar Group’s Chinese operations. Tony has an in-depth knowledge of the Chinese agri-food industry having held senior positions with a number of major multi-national companies. A business graduate of Hong Kong Polytechnic, Tony also holds an MBA from the University of Hong Kong. |

Eugenio Ruiz-Gálvez Eugenio Ruiz-Gálvez is Managing Director of Azucarera Ebro. He joined Azucarera Ebro from Uralita S.A., where he occupied several senior positions including Managing Director and Vice-Chairman. He is a civil engineer and holds an MBA from Stanford University.

Harvey Davenport Harvey Davenport is British Sugar Group’s Development Director. Joining British Sugar in 1972, he held a number of operational and commercial positions prior to being appointed Managing Director of British Sugar Overseas in 1994. Educated at the University of Salford he is a chemical engineer by training. |
